reflections on art and botany

I recently took coursework through Cornell University for botanical illustration. I thoroughly enjoyed it! We explored several mediums and techniques and the quest for interesting botanical subjects greatly improved my observational skills. It was a much needed break from technology.  I highly recommend the coursework and instructor Marcia Eames-Sheavly. For the finale we exhibited our work at Mann Library and I sold a print of my Allium sativum!!
